V-Sånger App

I’ve created a Capacitor app that wraps the website I built a few years back - https://www.v-sanger.se. It is available in the nordic countries in Google Play. I will make it available for iOS - if I ever get a Mac.

It was an interesting endeavour creating an app - there are so many hoops to jump through to get an app published.

The first problem I had was to set up a developer account. My old developer had been deleted due to inactivity, and setting up a new one required sending in a copy of my personal id, finding a DUNS number for my company etc.

Then there’s the problem of creating an app. Initially, I did not understand the Google Play Console UI, and the different forms of releases. Then we I finally managed to submit the app for review, I had messed up the icons so they looked different in the store than in the app. Finally after resubmitting the app I got it approved today.
